THE NUTSHELL.
In a past life (for 25 years in fact) Fiona was a Veterinarian. It’s a profession I have always viewed in awe, as it requires a delicate combination of immense compassion & empathy but also knowledge and a steely resolve when needed too.
To find herself leaving this all behind and graduating as a landscape designer in 2015, it left little doubt, Fiona is a born ‘natural’ when it comes fostering curiosity of green spaces. Turned out; this was the best decision she could ever have made.
The pure therapy that comes from spending time in a garden that has been designed specifically to your detail is what gets Fiona up in the morning. Reminding you, inspiring you, and firing up that excitement and enthusiasm for earth, sun, fresh air and nature; but your way!
By embracing the ‘perfectly imperfect’ rather than being dictated by trends it means natives, edibles, fire pits, rooftops, seasonal - nothing is out of bounds. When a considered design meets a good design aesthetic, a detailed and timeless garden with your stamp on it is when the joy really kicks in.
Plus, the more green spaces, the brighter the outlook. Sustainability is a gift we can all learn, and it’s a gift that Fiona is dedicated to helping you realise one garden at a time.
