Marshall Wood is a furniture designer and manufacturer based in Perth, Western Australia.
Lead designer / maker Jake Sawyer works closely with private customers as well as industry clients to produce high quality, locally made products. Further, we also offer machining and fabrication services for other designers who wish to produce their designs on a larger scale.
Like the ‘Gemma’ table made by Jake exclusively for Feel Design Studio, this local craftsman is becoming the backbone of our local industry and creating bespoke pieces for individuals looking for lifetime heirloom quality.

Is there a historical piece of furniture, style or era you'd love to see make a comeback?
I’m not sure that this counts as a comeback, but I’d really like to make a modern version of the classic farmhouse table, the kind that you see in movies where the protagonist is holidaying in a French villa that is hundreds of years old. Think old school joinery and techniques but a clean, smooth finish.
