Alisha Falconer

Artist - Freelance + by commission

Alisha Falconer is a home grown visual abstract artist, mum to a cheeky toddler and giant drooly dog, with a big love for colour, texture and form.

She’s also full of life, literally! If there’s a glass half empty anywhere around her, it soon gets filled.

You’ll see from these images to the left, there’s a storm brewing in Alisha land. These ‘sneak peaks’ signify a substantial shift for this #perthartist, a transition that’s been a long time coming. For now, you’ll have to feast your eyes on the layers of colour and drool worthy palette whilst we wait for the bigger reveals to come.

The back story though starts from a very early age, where she would often be found sketching and painting her natural surroundings.

Studying throughout the years, taking on new challenges and always creating, Alisha’s love of the practice has never faltered. Known for her down to earth and authentic nature, she loves taking on new projects, meeting new clients and designers, interpreting their palettes and bringing them to life through art.

If you’ve ever picked up a paint brush, you’ll agree, it’s something you’d have to love to become a fully fledged artist. DIY renovation excluded. That’s enough to sh*t the most ardent renovator to tears.

I asked Alisha what inspires her most, what delivers all her pops of ‘colour’? Interestingly her answer was “all through interiors, fashion and nature”. Another notable quality about Leesh is that she is always impeccably dressed and unafraid to harness colour. It all starts to make perfect sense.

Very much the fan of re-invention, I’ve noticed there’s a deep intuition to how she navigates the details she brings to life with bold palette choices, textured lines and contrasting markings.

So get excited! Alisha is currently working on new projects to be revealed very soon, and is also available for commissions.
