17 Of The Prettiest Places To Stay In WA.

You may have noticed in the last few years, that accommodation has become utterly beautiful.

From architect designed pods and cabins, to the elegantly styled and purposeful spaces within them, our getaways used to range from old pipeline bunks, and rubbish tip furniture all the way to luxury hotels and remote exclusivity.

Now however; luxury has taken on a whole new meaning. It has changed and our translation of it looks and feels far simpler than it used to. Much like our yearning for McMansions and over the top trophy houses is on the serious wane [ and not before time ], we are drawn like magnets to smaller digs, tiny homes, off the grid and minimal like rustic surrounds.

Rest and restore seems to be the order the of the day. The grunt of our daily lives no matter how we manifest otherwise, isn’t actually full of balance and so we seek it elsewhere - as far away from the ‘new normal’ as possible!

This new breed of ‘getaway’, is a pure retreat into the simple life where less is more is exactly what we are looking for because it was designed with that in mind. #gooddesign transcends again.

Now; as a family of 5 we don’t find it easy to find suitable accommodation and more often than not we end up camping - the ultimate in simplicity. We love it.

But I wont’ lie. There is room for both family and adult holidays, and this list is actually laden with options that also cater for the latter for those of you thinking - I love my kids, but dang, a little home in bush would be brilliant for a few days.

So here is a list of beautiful spaces that accommodate both options A & B.

They are all beautiful.

They are all right here in WA.

Now that our state has officially re-opened; and huge sighs of relief are exhaustibly allowed out of our bodies, I still want everyone to remember these gorgeous little places helped us in our time of need.

We must remember not to forget them as we race for the border, but continue to treasure them and ensure at least one of our yearly holidays involves our own backyard.
